SHEEP-RIN: JACE’s mascot character
Sheep-Rin is the official mascot for the Japan Association for Clinical Engineers– JACE.
Why a sheep? A sheep is the Clinical Engineers symbol of Humanity and Mercy.
The heart symbolizes the clinical aspect, and the gear symbolizes engineering… thus clinical
engineering.
In addition, the ears are bolts, and the tail is a power cord.
